On the afternoon of Thursday 10th May some of our Year 2 and Year 3 pupils competed in the Infant Agility, Ashford District, Competition at Towers School.  The pupils took part in a number of different sporting activities on a rota system to try and achieve the highest score they could.  The representatives for Aldington did the School very proud coming 10th in the competition whilst having a fantastic time in the process. On Friday 25th May, Otter Class will be having a Swallows and Amazons Evening from 3.15pm to 7.30pm, weather permitting, as a special  treat after reading and talking about the story within class over the last few weeks.  The pupils will be setting up tents and building a camp to act out scenes from the story and play games, followed by a picnic tea.

On Friday 15th June pupils will have the opportunity to participate in Non-School Uniform Day if they donate a bottle for the forthcoming Summer Fete.  Bottles can be in the form of alcoholic or soft drinks, bubble bath, body lotion, perfume etc.  No fancy dress or face paint please. 

We are running a competition for pupils to design the front cover of the programme for our forthcoming Summer Fete on Sunday 1st July 2012.  The theme for this year is the London 2012 Olympic Games.  All entries should be on A4 paper and should be clearly marked on the reverse with the pupils name.  All entries must be handed in to the appropriate Class Teacher by the morning of Tuesday 22nd May 2012 so get those creative hands to work and good luck.
